I’ve discovered that slow exploring while riding your pet beasty makes you immune from Sentinel attacks while mounted. They stalk you but never fire. Also most obstacles have no collision while riding which makes casual wandering while multitasking in real life a possible if a one handed affair.

For some reason I totally fell for this critter / bird / turtle. Once adopted it also acted really cool and pleased to be my friend :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
