Landing on seed does not matter, the void out is a AOE attack meant to hit as many targets as possible
Next seed after protecting Aug is Feb 6. Protect Feb 8 and 2(just cause 8 is my bday, idc) fill the rest with dupes.
Leave Jan 7 blank/null to freeze if it doesn’t work
I personally believe that destruction doesn’t depend on the type of date and would like to petition option 2. I’ve also had a bit of a fear of messing up the seed order by cramming February full of candidates and letting the virus run free. It’ll knock off a bunch of candidates for sure, but if deleting a future, non-next seed messes up the pattern in an unpredictable manner, we might end up with another runaway virus offshoot.
Personally, I’m all in for unidirectionally cramming adjacent dates next to the next 3 seeds such that the virus extinguishes itself again once they’ve all been consumed per seed.
If you were responding to my clarification post please read my original post. Your take away may be misguided.
We have been specifically told that the virus is searching for something. Destroying/voiding things is not necessarily what the virus is trying to do so treating its actions as its goal may be missing the bigger picture.
The community is not in agreement with whether or not landing on the seeds dates matters (this is our main stumbling block right now).
I assure you I am almost certainly misguided.
My post was more of a IMO this is my takeaway of how that plan “should-ish work”.
I thought the options were a “what is the consensus” on whether the seed date is attempting to directly hit a memory block or not
yall are doing great work carry on. Just throwing my two pence around. If it helps pick em up, if not feel free to ignore them to your hearts content.

Tried to run a check on the seed date predictions based on the patterns spotted by @Frazzlesprite if you need something to cross-check against. If the last seed was 8th Aug 2016 my sheet is predicting 29th Jan 2017 as the next seed.
@toddumptious Slight change of plans, it seems like we were working with bad data and the actual next seed target is January 28, 2017 (confirmed by @Frazzlesprite ).
Given the new information the two courses of action should be (based on the response from Archie):
Option 1 (landing on a seed date matters):
no/value memory on January 27, 2017Option 2 (landing on a seed does not matter):

Oh wow, I genuinely had no idea that was a cover but makes sense now that I think of it, stands out so much compared to the rest of her body of work. I always just assumed it was a throwback/celebration of those big band era tunes.
