What is your field of view set to in the video settings? It seems values over 75 cause cropping to a greater and greater degree the higher the FOV is.
Telcom must have a lucrative contract in that system
I leave FOV at the default, whatever that is
Ok, how did you get them lined up in that nice semi-circle, even with the kids? I’m sensing coercion…
You just reminded me of another issue ive experienced only on console when field of view is not set to default.
Its been there since atlas rises, when someone contacts you in ship their hologram always renders outside of frame so you only ever see a but of their left arm. That’s with an increase of FOV, not sure if same issue happens if FOV lower than default.
When you feed them bait, after they eat they move towards you and line up! Very handy for harvesting, and after you have harvested twice (the most you can from 1 creature with a single bait) they keep standing there for awhile making noises and opening their mouths.
Well that clears up another issue. Too bad FOV is causing these problems. 75 is the default setting and I feel so claustrophobic when using it.
Drugs.
I can’t see past my character at that level.
Ah… so there is a use for nipnip, after all…
I think VR is the first time where I’ve been able to see my little hologram callers on console. I know I play pc as well but I actually can’t recall now if the issue was present for that.
I usually go with 90 FOV, I don’t want the image to be too distorted and fish eye.
I love taking photos at 50fov though if it works with the composition.
All I ask for photo mode is. Shutter speed. F stops. Iso. The works let that calculate my depth of field
Having a lot of fun with animals and feeding, have yet to mix up their speciality and tame them though. Can’t wait
Good news, bad news. It “got in the way,” but some might like the NMS code. To me, that made finding portals less of a challenge, which I found irritating. It may have been for devs and accidentally left in the release.
Actually, for important locations, I take a photo of the Analysis Visor, which shows Lat, Long.
Yes. I agree that it is a good idea and I really like it. Very nice if we want to share a planet or base location. It would make it easy for the Portal Repository.
If only it could be easily toggled on/off, it would be a very nice feature.
