Operators TOWER Window Composite Image

Hi everyone!

I thought it would be nice to gather everyone’s windows together and display them in a single composite image or similar, and combining the image idea with the user script seemed like the best way to go.

The base version is finished now from the feedback in the thread and can be accessed from my Ops Centre via the WINDOW SIM button, or here.

You will see a simulation of the /counting/ page (the same code as snapshot) with an updated version of the user script from here.

You can use the tools at the top of the page to:

Show the completed tower, or clear the complete view.

Enter your prime windows to see them, or show all known Operator windows, or clear the current view.

You can toggle the zoom view with Shift to see the zoomed in cells

Hovering over a window (highlighted in the aqua square) will display the Operators name for that window.

Sadly, much like the original, it’s not very mobile friendly in 2D view

Also includes a 3D triangular prism tower mode for fun, that is actually mobile compatible.
(pinch to zoom, two finger pan, single finger rotate - tap a window to see the Operator)

Have now also added the Living PRIMES Twinkle and a Countdown to the completion as well

I will update the list of Operators periodically for the “show all” functionality.

I will also be adding per user colours on user request, so feel free to request a colour with it’s hex colour code in the thread and I will get them on there as time permits

may be the most absurd way to customize, but what about cramming the profile pictures of the Operators into their respective windows? Not that it would look good, but hey the window cleaners haven’t come round to spruce the tower up yet

We could submit a personal hex colour along with our prime if its not too much trouble on your end, thats the only way I can think to personalise a single pixel

Oh yeah! We could have them jotted onto the tracker sheet - that would be a cool way to handle it. Could add a little namelist with the colour key!

Looks like they may just be arranged numerically, we seem to be clustered around the first few hundred primes, with just a few with much later ones.

Something for you @vector_cmdr , just an idea. Maybe use a sentinel to magnify the window with the profile avatar if there is one. Otherwise use a generic avatar image. Line colour can be perhaps an average light colour from the avatar.

A highlight line may not even be needed. Prime number could change like an altitude meter scrolling numbers as you click with the mouse or drag the sentinel drone magnifier. The matched operator window could simple pulse brightly in position, when you stop moving the sentinel.

I have absolutely zero experience knowing if that is something CSS or Java can do or even the System @the_architect could achieve lol. But there are very talented creative number crunchers here. Anyway here’s some pictures that might be useful if its an idea that might interest someone with a little bit or months of programming and no sleep lol. My work is done. : D

With great help from @Rinha’s tech support prowess and a smidgeon of @vector_cmdr’s moral support, I have located my window.

The view from up here is swell, but the rent ain’t cheap!

Main post updated with the current version, links and a little explainer for use! Decided to combine both ideas into one, which also avoids users needing to trust running a user script, or needing to at all.
