As @7101334 stated, you can toggle address on and off with the photo settings but it is finicky…I believe X on Xbox or square on PS will make it appear. Then you wait til the hud vanishes and the address remains. It is sometimes difficult
Please do! Community effort!
Here’s my best recreation of the photo (with someone else acting as the model lol, maybe @William? Didn’t catch the name before they stood up)
Very similar, hard to say, but unless that big shadow on the upper left of the glitched image is a starship, I’m not 100% sure this is the same spot. I still think it’s an avenue worth pursuing, but that looks like a mountain to me, on the left there.
The grass is also much higher on Tuscon. It reaches mid-torso versus the glitched image which doesn’t even look waist-high. Maybe just “parallel reality” things, though.
Exact coords are a bit finicky. We had a scavenger hunt a while back and found that things move and shift. The boundaries in the sim are not stable
It’s feasible the grass textures and the like might not be the same now since Atlas Rises. However the ground geometry should still line up?
grass hasn’t been mowned lol or am i small?
I already placed the one comm. Not sure I can make a 2nd one show on the same planet and I cannot seem to remove them…interestingly, it does not show it being left by me. It just says left by Traveller
From what I’m reading (which sounds correct in my memory too), player models didn’t come until NEXT (Update 1.50) in 2018, so it couldn’t be an image from Atlas Rises. Have there been geology resets since NEXT?
Or it’s just a render. Or even an image from the future…
Entire planets have shifted. But comms left at these coords would be visible to others
If the planet itself was altered, then either the plateau should be gone, or the mountain range should still be there. Or it’s just a glitched-out image of a starship and I’m creating a red herring (sorry).
I had the same thing happen on my end, which is why I asked you to check my comm ball. I can see yours on my end too though.
Either way, the coords in the wasp data are what they are. And if @the_architect comes looking at these coords, he will see comms
If you zoom in enough on the peak of the glitched shadow-mountain, I think you can see trees. I don’t think this is the same planet as the image. But again, I do still think it’s an avenue worth pursuing anyway. We’re 100% meant to be here for some reason, just not sure if we’re crossing wires of two separate puzzles…
But you prolly connot see the 2nd one I placed at these current coords…
Limit is 1 comm station per planet. If you place a new one, the older one disappears. And there’s no way to delete them.
Ok. Thanks. So my 2nd one should show but, I am also in experimental so that may make a difference
Nice! Get a pic with the coords
