NMSVoyager
Mid-forty-something tea-supping blokey sort from England.
An unashamed NMS fan man from the moment I first heard about it a few months before release through to the present day. It’s a magnificent beast with a lot of potential to realise in the fullness of time, and is only set to get even better in times ahead I’m sure.
I’m a vintage gamer, having worked my way through the Atari 2600, Atari 8-bit, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga and then finally the PC in the early 1990’s, with a little X-Box shenanigans along the way, having played hundreds, actually probably thousands of games across all those machines.
Favourite game types are typically (MMO)RPG’s, an occasional racer or two, and then things like Civilisation. Have always been on the lookout for a great space game and NMS fills that void… and then some for me at least. Never in my wildest imagination as a 7 year old kid with my Atari 2600 with classic but primitive games such as Space Invaders and Robotron - did I ever quite envisage anything as wild, beautiful and massive as NMS. And here we are almost 40 years later, the game of my dreams and beyond.
My background is graphic design in advertising, which has morphed into web design and development down the years and more recently ecommerce development. I am hoping to do an NMS themed website in times ahead if time permits.
Beyond all that, I love music / concerts, travelling, animals / nature.
