Chaos game reveals nothing except a faint fractal (except a really nice wallpaper ).
So, no sequential data seems likely - though thinking about this more, it’s not particularly evenly structured either. I am putting my finger on the beat/voice scales, but I am happy to be proven wrong.
Has anyone tried using the two pictures below as audio inputs or could they have anything to piece into the Emily puzzle? They seem like fragments of audio as well.
Yep, the expedition reuses the soundbytes from singularity, which spelled out “She sees through their eyes” in the spectrogram. I can go back and check what the currently used ones say in order, if anything coherent at all, in a bit.
EDIT: Can confirm, the sound byte used in Expedition 22 is specifically the one which spells SHE in the spectogram. Could definitely be an HG employee chucking the literal first audio file into the dialogue in a hurry, but given all of the renewed connections to @Emily, I thought this might be fun to bring up:
Further notes on L/R channel comparison (visible ~0.79ms lag):
Voice band (~160-3000Hz) energy envelopes correlate at .0.92
Heartbeat band (~10-160Hz) energy envelopes correlate at 0.70.
The same audio content is in both channels - just artificially decorrelated.
After removing the ~79ms lag, raw correlation only rises to 0.28, suggesting a stereo widening plugin (likely Haas effect + phase manipulation?) might have been applied.
So the low L/R correlation is likely not a clue either (if there even is one).
I guess I had thought that part was obvious enough to not delve:
Trace [route], trace [board], trace [remains], trace [cable], trace [path, generic] etc. pointing back here and elsewhere where traces remain - thematic hinting.
Could still be more to it.
@Selfie-Gek edit: I realised that read like I was being short. I wanted to clarify that I mean it as a reflective thought against me, for dismissing it and not thinking much about it beyond theme.
I haven’t been this absorbed in the Net in years. I’m betting this is official, and even if it isn’t, it reignited some real excitement in me I haven’t felt since Atlas Rises was due. Long live the Atlas!
wasn’t part of WT so just wanted to confirm, the Emily video is the one that came out to basically announce the ARG, right? and the Emily in the video is supposed to refer to the AI Emily?
I feel like the dumbest person on the planet for not realising TRACE was ETARC rearranged. This place has been my home for 9 years the fact it was a glitched screenshot of their failed login to here, really shouldve made that obvious
I don’t think I got that impression at all! If anything, I think I had interpreted that you were just hopeful there was still some deeper hidden secret.
I think all of us would love if that were the case, and I hope you don’t think of me as being dismissive of the time and effort you are spending in searching for deeper clues.
I think I only meant to offer some relief. If you don’t happen to find anything deeper, you shouldn’t sweat it. This only seems to be the first piece of this new puzzle.
Hey guys I used to be big in NMS and WakingTitan back in the day and still have a signed atlas pass à la OG w Sean Murray’s signature from WakingTitan. Please do let me know if someone could use it as I don’t have a lot of time myself these days to do ARGs! Been following with a close eye though. Goodluck yall and let’s hope this is an official ARG!
