Been having an issue with toggling sprint (PS4). I click R3 and either nothing happens or sprint is toggled for a fraction of a second before turning off. I’ve been expecting patches to fix it, but also not seeing this complaint anywhere else, so not sure if it’s just me having this problem.
Do you have a second controller to verify it’s not the issue?
Had no problem on PS4, could be the terrain or your technique, perhaps try longer or shorter R3 clicks
