Best I can tell its a legit test. But not sure if its been around a while or is for the next phase
This was spotted before, when Multiverse site went up, I believe.
I dont want to go too far off the deep end but the first thing i thought of is that the general shape looks like what you see looking at VR without a headset. Though it seems entirely unlikely given that only a very marginal few people probably have it to justify allocating recources to make something for it.
Guys check out the source code. It’s not a .gif. Very, very interesting…

Nah its testing the canvas / JS engine used on most of the sites… Not much to see…
