I found some seriously inhospitable planets.
When I was on this planet, the sentinels kept flying straight up into space.

I’ve noticed that sentinel drones spawn out of the ground like spooks.
They just rise up & begin prowling…It’s kind of creepy.

As if finding that last creature wasn’t hard enough…
The Sentinel Dogs show up as creatures in the scanner. But of course they don’t count.
I ran pretty far, so excited to get the last one on the planet. Only to find it was a space police dog. ::Sigh::
Three hours later and I still haven’t found that last critter.

I find it even harder now that we don’t have the little white blinking markers to point us in the direction of critters.

Night on my home planet
Flying to the valley where I am building my base. The island with the floating island above it is where I built my base computer.

I have found that critters in the water can be there one second and then gone the next. They seem to be elusive. I have also found more butterflies than before which can be hard to spot. Keep looking!

Could be. The butterflies have been very, very difficult to scan. I found backing off a ways helps. It is very hard to keep them inside the sweet-spot. Thankfully this newest patch has sped the scanning up slightly. Try going into camera mode to see if you can spot whatever it is.
Also, I remember a tiny little floating jellyfish before NEXT. I wonder if it is still around. Took me while to spot them.
