> **My family went camping in South Wales to view the solar eclipse, as I was always fascinated with space at the time and a solar eclipse was very exciting to my young self. From what I remember the south Wales coast was just outside the edge of the path of the full eclipse, but the location was much more convenient than the long drive around to the Cornwall. But, we were lucky enough to have clear skys! I distinctly remember seeing the shape of the crescent sun in the scattered light beneath a tree, dancing with the wind as the sunlight was dappled by the leaves. It is incredible the detail I can recall that image in my mind, 27 years later, even down to where I was and the breeze. Perhaps I am imagining some details, as it seems so long ago now. But I hope I can hold on to this early memory of discovery and wonder.**
