After the garbage collection, NMS will invite the players to the green areas maintenance. _For each garbage collected, a tree will be replanted on a ā€œterraformation disasterā€ type planet_ ---

In my humble opinion: seasons, climates, or ecology. Perhaps the mission will be to save an ecosystem from an invasion of parasites, or to recover one following a climate catastrophe. Maybe terraforming hostile planets. ---

I saw Mr. Zine @TomAcreon mention ā€œThe Witheredā€ and I thought that fit pretty nicely too. As for the contentā€¦ A super out there, highly unlikely tie-in could be introducing seasons to planets? I imagine that would give players another reason to really stick around longer to explore the variety of flora/fauna that come and go with each passing season (maybe a season lasts 90 in-game days). We getting No Star Manā€™s Dew Valley Sky? ---

Reflecting on the dying rose emoji and considering the time of year, the new update might have something to do with the veneration of the dead. This could involve new ā€œtemples of remembranceā€ for various speciesā€”or structures with similar functionsā€”the ability to build such a site using specific constructible elements, or perhaps the option to create a ā€œtalking grave,ā€ much like the one belonging to a Traveler. Or, it could be something like Artemisā€™s holographic projection, serving as a memorial for a lost loved one. Mourning and the veneration of the deadā€”seen in traditions like _DĆ­a de los Muertos_, _Is Animeddas_ in Sardinia, or Halloweenā€”are ways for civilizations to remember and find meaning in death. As in, Titan awakes šŸ«©, Titan arose šŸ„€ / šŸŒ¹ from his bedā€¦? What will be part 3 of the trilogy, Titan Yawns? šŸ„± Iā€™m also expecting something halloweenish. (Some sort of Terraforming would be fun, too, I like that in other games as well, it makes progress visible. But not sure how that meshes with proc gen. Unless the Expedition dimension has artificially dead planets, and we restore them to their healthy proc gen self.) ---

Was going to post something similar yesterday, but I had like 3 drafts for the forums going and didnā€™t end up posting anything. šŸ˜… Glad Iā€™m not the only one who was thinking of this word. Not the same exact prediction as Kyle, but I do remember the first Waking Titan puzzle had the word ā€˜aroseā€™ in it. It was a modified quote from the poem ā€˜Hyperionā€™ by Keats. _He arose, and on the stars Lifted his curved lids, and kept them wide._ Expedition 23 finished with us going ā€˜to the starsā€™ for the last milestone. Here is what I was playing with yesterday. Pretty sure I got the wording right.
