We both used the word matinee seperately and without influencing eachother in the last three minutes in seperate threads 😛 ---

As soon as it started, I realized I _have_ seen The Swarm but never all the way thru… Watching now while noticing a wasp has landed on the window right next to me…uh huh… Oh and like almost everyone in the town drives a Mustang? Light 'em up!!! ![1000004266](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/etarc/original/3X/3/8/38646b77f28efeff31682788868ba3a0256cee7a.jpeg) Pfffttt… All they needed was Paul Weir and 65 DOS NMS soundtrack. ---

Just got back from Resident Evil. What an absolute treat. Adapts the game mechanics rather than its ridiculous Anime infused lore and nails it. Theres an enemy ai pathfinding joke in the movie that made me realise this was gonna be a special one. ---

Just to finish off my come down from last night, and to tie it in to the Silent Running mentions here (and also to help cement the NMS/65DoS/CBL connections in my mind), this track was immense last night: [![](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/etarc/original/3X/1/9/19915917094809962015d30d606ecc28560f3351.jpeg "Carbon Based Lifeforms - Photosynthesis") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRW_zVeRp9I) ---

Ive always enjoyed Nathan Fielders comedy shows but after seeing The Rehearsal and The Curse I’ve been a die hard fanatic. Very excited to see these two go head to head. Its been a few years, I probably rewatched it last just before The Return came out. I got a sudden urge to rewatch Twin Peaks. Seems its on paramount plus for streaming over here. I see they have a free seven day trial. I now have a week to binge it in its entirety. Personally Id like more time but I am excited to see what sort of fever dreams this endeavour brings my way. I hereby pledge I will not skip over any of the pointless and annoying b story segments relating to James in Season 2. I willingly accept all fines and punishments that will occur when I inevitabley break my pledge and skip over them. ---

Please know in advance you are forgiven for any James Z-plot skips, especially the “Just You” song/scene which drags on so long, you become certain they are still filming it ---

I can’t say that it ever became bad, just that it became less good for a while that I sorta fell off of it… So I have come to inform you that South Park has become More Good again. Dropped into the newest season and it feels like they’re back on form. Oh yeah the show is also called South America now 😂 (no narrative reason, just them poking fun at Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico etc) [![](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex019/uploads/etarc/original/3X/d/5/d5152685ba9568234f5aa803cc3d19d278a700bd.jpeg "We Are South America") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdsaYel_UY0) ---

Yes I read that last month, it made me laugh a long time, the reason they gave was > Inspired by the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google, we are changing the name of South Park to SOUTH AMERICA. Everybody have a warm coat for this winter 😃 ---
