Its a much older “Continuous” ARG that Alice & Smith have been running for a while. The only weird thing is that the account’s started following me and other NMS Twitter accounts. Might just be to promote it though. ---

Yeah, The Black Watchmen already existed before the Waking Titan ARG, so it can’t be related, unless A & S change their lore to involve other fanbases ---

I think he finally realized the bad times of the past are gone and he is feeling the relief and freedom of being able to be himself again. The number of watches on LNF and the good reception at the Game Awards has him riding high. I am so happy for all of them ---

One way I see the good ole’ bad days coming back is if they decide to do a console exclusive, that would make a large part of the fanbase go ballistic. I don’t think they would make that mistake, but the PS exclusive NMS had for a year and The Last Campfire’s Epic Games store exclusive worries me. ---

That music video is very fitting to HGs position after NMS’ launch. They took several hits from the internet and gaming world. All the shots were essentially fatal career enting shots… and they kept standing tall and running. And now, at the game award, SM basically threw gasoline all over himself, like “bring it on, I can take it”. ---

The keyboard player with Alt-J, Gus Unger-Hamilton, has said that the meaning of “Hunger of the Pine” is that the pain of missing someone (pining) is like hunger. I was quite taken by the poetic comparison of bodily and emotional needs. So much so, that I plan a follow up. Hmmm, I personally can’t tell if anything changed, as I was already being watched … lol I do know this though: ARG Discord (A&S) - The Black Watchmen - posted on December 11th, 2023 > Agents! Hunger of the Pine is an easy watch compared to their video for Breezeblocks (reversed footage of domestic violence). I was very happy that 65DOS went on to do the full OST for NMS but I dunno if I want the same happening with Alt J.
